Placements and Internships

  • The college has a separate placement team which brings in the opportunities for Internships for all the specializations including Aviation and for dual specializations. The college also provides opportunities through NHRD which is a Central Government program o provide internship opportunities students.
  • The placements are highly dynamic and provide opportunities for all the courses of the program with an average package of 8.5 lacks per annum. 
  • Companies such as Honeywell, Microsoft, Google India, Amazone, Deloitte, ITC, HUL are some of the regular recruiters of the college.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • CMS Business School has different hostels at various places in the city of Bengaluru for boys as well as for girls. The hostels are available with A/C as well as without A/C.
  • College bus facilities are also provided by the college
  • If the students have to travel from the railway station, airport, bus stations the hostel provides pick and drop for the students by cab.
  • Rooms are available for 3 sharing and 4 sharing 
  • The college hostel provides ONLY vegetarian food for the students 
  • Every Saturday is a servicing day for the hostel canteen were the student has to make their necessary preparations during the dinner time.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Every MBA aspirant has to take up any aptitude tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT during the time of admission with a cut-off of 65% or above. If not the student has to take up JET (Jain Entrance test) to qualify themselves for the course opted. The test applies for all the courses including Under Graduate programs of the college.

 

Academics and Faculty

  • The college faculties do have about 25 - 30 years of corporate experience and provide various contacts for the students to get placed at various Multi National Companies before the completion of course itself
  • Most of the knowledge gained is through the classroom experience in the form of presentation, lectures, seminars, live projects and assignments.
  • At the end of the 1st semester, the students have to go on an Organisational Structure Study for a period of 15 days to exploring and gain a holistic knowledge about the working culture of the organization.
  • Mentors from the college will be assigned to coordinate and guide the students in all aspects.

Fees and Scholarships

  • The course fee for Masters in Business Administration for the year 2018-20 for CMS Business School, Bangalore is Rs 8,75,000. The fee is paid in 5 installments. 
  • Students from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and African countries are the aspirants of this college. Certain students are provided 100% exemptions from the college fee and the educational expenses are taken care of by the Central Government
  • Educational loan facility is also being provided by the college for the students. 

Clubs and Associations

  • The college has separate clubs for each specialization such as Finance club, Marketing club, Human Resource 
  • Every club has its own guide and faculty to coordinate with the club members
  • Every year the college conducts 2 major fests
  1. Parichay- The fest that is conducted by the seniors to welcome the juniors to the college
  2. Cranium- An International fest that is conducted by the college to promote the culture of the country and to expose the CMS students to the International standards.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission procedure was kind of really simple. Just a cut-off percentage followed by a group discussion and interview.
