I took admission through my JEE Main score. You have to qualify JEE Main to get admission to this college. First Cut-off list is around 35000.

Classes are held daily on time and according to the time table. The teaching method is good. My experience in the college is good.

The course fee for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] at Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur is INR 98,000 for first year & INR 93,000 for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. Scholarships are provided by the UP Government on the basis of whether the parent's income is under INR 2 lakhs. All students get scholarships.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get eligible for admission in HBTU, you must have cleared JEE MAIN exam & have 75% aggregate in your 12th board exam. After that according to your rank in JEE MAIN exam, you will get the respective branch. Since most of the students don't know about the vast scope of non-core branches like plastic, paint, oil etc. So people resist to come in this branch but still there are many people who know about them & the limited seats in these branches so to get admission in HBTU one must have ranked within 66000( general category) to assure your seat.
