Placements and Internships
Here in TIET every year more than 90% students get placed from my branch . Almost every core and IT companies visit our campus. You can find companies visited at college's website. Here avg salary is about 8lac per annum and highest goes to 40 lac. This year 5 students placed in Microsoft with CTC 40 lpa. Alumni network is awesome,even in abroad.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Around 10 hostels are there with good accommodation and fee vary as per accommodation.. Classroom,lab , library are awsome Wifi is also good at reading area but not so good in hostels..
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology takes students on the basis of marks secured in jee mains exam conducted by CBSE every year.
Academics and Faculty
Class timing starts from 8am, end time vary everyday. Method of teaching is highly modernised,classrooms and labs are exceptionally awsome. Enjoying the college life very much.
Fees and Scholarships
Per year course fee(only) is around 3 lpa. But u can get scholarship. Loan here is easily available,during admission u can find bank members in help..

50+ societies are here .. Various types of fest occur here .. It is an awesome college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : No seperate exam held for entrance in Thapar so you have to clear JEE Mains for taking admission in this university. There is quota for student who belongs to punjab, so if you are from out of punjab, you really need a good marks in JEE Mains.
