Tech Mahindra, OIL, ASAI, etc do their campusing here. About INR 6-10 lakh package with about 40-50% student get placed.

6 hostel for boys and 1 for girls. 1 pg hotel each for boys and girls, students can also stay outside the campus. Food is cheap and the good quality. Classroom, labs, library labs are in good condition.

We have to sit for an entrance test named NEE and 20 students from each state is selected. Each branch having 4 seats for each state. I took NEE-I. No particular cutoff just its a first come first serve basis one whose rank is higher can choose his/her branch.

Class starts at 8 am in the morning to 5 pm in the evening. Exams are held twice, one in the middle of sem and one at the end. Assignments and projects are regularly done. Quality and method of teaching is good,not the best but decent enough. Overall a good college to purse for higher studies.

The course fee is around INR 4000 per sem which is very less compared to other colleges. Scholarships are not available and they are not necessary as course fee is very less.

Here unions are formed headed by SUN(Student Union of NERIST). All states have their respective union. Every state celebrates their festival and sports meet and cultural fest are held annually.
