Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Simplex, Stups, GDCL, Seimens, etc. hire from our college. The average salary lies between INR 6 lakhs to INR 8 lakhs per annum. The highest salary figures placed was in Microsoft 12 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get placed.
The college doesn't have its own hostel but there are PGs as well as hostels available nearby. The food costs in the college canteen are affordable. The college maintains a good infrastructure
MSIT is affiliated to MAKAUT as well as AICTE so admissions are granted on the basis of ranks obtained in WBJEE and JEE-Mains. Admission tenure starts from mid-July as per the AICTE and MAKAUT rules. The cutoffs needed are for appearing in the joint examinations are 45% for WBJEE and 50% for JEE Mains.
The daily routine is very systematic over here. Assignments and projects are not taken after the submission dates. Teaching in MSIT is best among all other private colleges in West Bengal. With its highly experienced teachers, it provides the best education. The overall experience is great.
The course fee for B.Tech is INR 1,00,250 per annum. Scholarships are granted by the state and central government is approved by the college, though the college doesn't have its own scholarship scheme.20% of the students are scholarship holders.
There are clubs like Rotaract, Megatronix, Gnosis, Inkblots, Sargam, Yuva etc. There techfests like Paridhi, tech extra and cultural fest like Advaya. College life, in general, is exciting.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I completed my diploma at 2016. Then I want to do BTech. So, I crack the WBJEE entrance examination in West Bengal and my rank was 516.and my percentage is 82percent.the cut off is 45 percent in diploma and crack the WBJEE exam. Then I crack the exam and get the college via counselling.
