Shruti Shamdasani's Review on Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune

I interned at Prudent IT systems as an Android application developer. I have been placed at Citi Corp for the Analyst role. Renowned companies like Goldman Sachs, LinkedIn, Cisco, Qualcomm etc. visit our college each year. Average salary goes around INR 4-5 LPA. Highest salary this was INR 30 LPA Approximately 80-90% of students get placed. We have also good communication with our alumni for help in any domain.

The college is surrounded with a large number of PGs and hostels. Annual fees are around INR 60000. College's infrastructure is average. Canteen provides tasty hygienically prepared food ( Only veg). Rates are reasonable as well. The library is well maintained. WiFi is not available at the college. You have to manage on your own. Classrooms are decent.

I got admission in this college on the basis of my JEE (Mains) score and 12th boards percentage. It's an all-girls college. So only females are allowed to get admitted. My JEE score was 163 and 12th percentage was 86(CBSE)

I am admitted in second shift batch Hence my timing is generally from 12-5 We have one compulsory practical each day. Teachers can be found in every category, good and bad. Overall engineering life majorly depends on the student itself.

I am a general class student. My college fees are around INR 1.2 lacs per year. Frequent scholarships are given to SC/ST students Financial aids are also given to students who require them.

There are various clubs like code club, a society of women engineers, Mozilla club, python club etc. Students actively take part infests. We have mainly 3 fests 1. Cultural fest (Gandhaar) 2. Technical fest (Innovation) 3. Sports fest (Pentacle) Rest, various activities are organized all over the year.
