Accordingly, placement is done. Like in the first semester of B.E. core companies do arrive for respective branches. 60% students got placements. Salary package depends on the company. Average package is about INR 2 lacs per annum Companies like- TCS, Tata Motors, Amazon, LG, Mahindra rise.

There are two hostels. One for boys and one for girls. Girls hostel is in front of the college. Boys hostel is about 0.5 km away. Fees are INR 1,15,000/- it is very much than that of private hostels. College looks great from outside. But, not same from inside.

I was selected by giving MH-CET, I scored 109 out of 200. For mechanical, 90+ marks is enough.

Timings are very long. 8:00 am to 5:15 pm (for the first year) including 30min break and 45 min break. They take many exams for no reason which is not compulsory from the university. 3/10 teachers are good, they have knowledge about the subject and teaches very well. But, other teachers are not knowledgeable and good at teaching.

Dr. DY Patil College of Engineering has particular fee structure like INR 87,000/- for mechanical engineering, Fees is less as compared to other colleges nearby.

There are many clubs for every branch and for other activities. Students work hard and take part in many competitions. College doesn't support much. The things I thought about college before admission and the things which are going on is very different.
