Entrance Exams & Admissions : One can join the College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar through JEE mains. To get through a core branch one needs an all India rank in the range of 60,000 to 80,000.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The JEE MAIN is the main entrance you need to get through to study B.Tech in College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. I took the OJEE entrance examination which had a high cutoff of around 1508 rank. Different branches had different cutoffs, the highest being the Civil and Electrical Engineering.

Academics & Faculty : The scarcity of able Teachers, and taken for granted attitude of the majority of teachers are deteriorating the quality output. But certain Professors are of par excellent quality who are saviors of the Institution. Class timings and academic Time tables are suitable and not so rigorous. Campus life can be enjoyed a lot with studies. The quality of teaching is very good at College of Engineering and Technology. The overall experience is average at this college.
