Mir Zeyiam's Review on IUST - Islamic University of Science and Technology

I had not done any internship yet as I am in 2nd year but I had heard from my seniors that internship done through our university are pretty good and provide a good practical exposure. Sincerely not so many companies had come to hire but there are some local companies such as iquasar etc. Not known about the salary as hiring through University is not common. Alumni network had been started but it's in the beginning phase and university is putting a good effort in providing a good Alumni Network.

Hostels are good and 3 in number. One for girls had two for boys (Separate). Hostel fees are about 4000 without mess and 7000 with the mess. PGs are good and offer good services and are offered at good price and price is same as that of Hostel prices 4000 to 7000. Food in college is good and is offering a variety of eatable and price varies but are affordable. Classrooms are being newly constructed so they are good and smart classes have been introduced which offer the great experience in learning, labs are well equipped, also WiFi is being offered that is something fun moment without any cost. Also, other sports activities are there which are fun so that's a thumbs up as our university is regarded best for that.

The eligibility criteria for my University is to qualify the Jee mains with a good score and register yourself for the admissions in the university with necessary documents including board certificates. After some time they publish the list for the students that have been eligible to secure their admission to the university through Jee mains scores. I took JEE mains to get qualified in my University. It's generally 70 above.

They are pretty good and in fact, our university was awarded a national award for conducting the academic session in a pretty good manner so the daily routine is awesome and no complaint about it sincerely. Quality is pretty good as now the teachers hired are graduated from IIT's, IIM's, NIT With masters and PhD degrees. So quality and method of teaching are pretty good. Experience is great and friendly environment is created which is prefect and enhances the moments in the university.

60,000 per year (30000 per semester excluding bus/hostel fees). There are a number of ways by which scholarship are being provided to the students that is pretty much good and appreciable. I think slightly more than the average number of students are being benefited by the scholarships. Doesn't know about the loans since University is offering a great no. Of scholarships which omits the necessity for applying for loans.

No, there are student societies, clubs and association as they have been banned by State Government. Fresher's party is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Although sports, cultural activities, tech, management are celebrated with great feeling. But no concerts are organized. It's great with nurturing our developing ideas and enjoying the life greatly and happy to be part of this respectable University.
