Placements and Internships
Mainly company come for CSE and IT branch students. The major recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, ZS associates, Deloitte, and some more. Avg package offered is between 3.5 to 5 lpa. Max has been 14 lpa.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Total 8 boys hostel and 9 girls hostel are available and soon will be 10 girls hostel. Also hostel rent is very minimal of INR 12000 per year. Food quality is good. Also, nearby various PGs are available. Classrooms are in good condition.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
JEE Mains is the main criteria for admission. To get CSE branch you need to have ranked below 32000 for general. Also, there is single AI Quota only.
Academics and Faculty
Class is generally between 9 am- 4 pm which changes per sem. Teaching is good but not upto the mark. I give it rating of 6 out of 10.
Fees and Scholarships
CSE course fee INR 75000 pa. Scholarships are available for needy students based on caste and economic conditions.

There are various societies available for fun, sports, creativity, geeks,dance, skit, and many more.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : A student is eligible for admission in UIET if he has completed his senior secondary in Non-Medical branch and has appeared for JEE MAIN Entrance Examination. You are eligible for the admission process if you get qualified in the Examination. To participate in the counseling work of Chandigarh Colleges named as JAC Chandigarh and on the basis of your AIR, you will be granted the college (rank wise) and then the rank will decide your trade of Engineering. Say AIR ranging below 80,000 may get admission in top-ranked college out of the 5 participating colleges of JAC Chandigarh and out of those the students with ranks like in between first 20,000 will get Computer Science Engineering and next 20k in maybe IT and so on. The closing rank for my course was AIR 27000
