Placements and Internships

2.5

There is a period of one month vacational training in the last semester which you have to find by yourself. Since the internship opportunity is something that you have to find by yourself so the chances are that it will be a non paid one. On most part it is the IT companies that come to the campus to recruit students irregardless of the students backgrounds in non IT fields. If you are going to do your BE in non IT field like me then good luck with find a job in that field. Average salary that you are hired on is touching 3.5 lacs .Thats not average basically it is the highest that you will get in this college.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels are pretty old infrastructure wise. Poorly equipped and managed. Living in a hostel is dort cheap. If you can't afford to live outside then hostel is a good option. There are many private hostels even apartments that you can rent in case you don't prefer to live in hostels. Classrooms are like pretty old. Well its an Indian government college you can't really expect much. Labs are the only best part of the college. Wifi on campus is available but only for the staff not for the teachers.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Eligibility criteria to get into this institution is that you need to have cleared 12th grade in non medical with PCM as your primary subjects and 60 percent obtained in 12th grade. I got into the college through AIEEE based on the information what i have heard you can get into this college only through MPPET

Academics and Faculty

1.5

Classes are conducted usually without teachers. Since its a government college they don't really bother to take classes. Quality and method of teaching is pretty poor. None of the teacher will really bother to complete the syllabus within semester period. So self study is an only thing that is going to get you through.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

.Since it is government college, both the hostel and tution fee is pretty low and free if you are from non general category.

Clubs and Associations

2.5

There are no student societies, clubs and associations on campus. There is only NCC association that you can join. Culturals fests are organized very rarely because it is very hard to get permission from the authorities to organize a fest on the campus itself. Life outside campus with friends is only Saving Grace.
