Placements and Internships
Aisec is a platform for 1st-year guys. KEY Companies are Facebook, Flipkart, Amazon, Google India, Coordination, Walmart. Avg salary was INR 11.2 lakhs and highest was INR 27 lakhs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 5 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The classrooms are really good. Campus is beautiful but small. There is centralized AC.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria for my college is clearing JEE MAIN and to be in top 5000 for IT branch. Admission procedure is basically very simple. Just apply for IIIT Allahabad and the process goes on. you just have to follow the steps. JEE MAIN is the test for the application. Cutoff for 2017 was around 6000.
Academics and Faculty
The class is from 9 am to 3 pm, there is a break in between the class period. 3 pm to 6 pm is labs. Quality and method of teaching is really good. Teachers are really helpful.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is generally INR 56000, the tuition fee is INR 1500. Hostel fee Scholarships are available for students whose parents are having an annual income less than 5 lakhs and minimum 8.5 cgpa is required.
Clubs and Associations
There are many societies: Litsoc, Drama, Music. Main fests are aporaksha, Asmita, effe. Life, in general, is awesome.
