Placements and Internships

The placement statistics of RVCE are as follows: 2016-179 companies offered 1198 offer letters, 2017 - 207 companies offered 1147 offer letters and 2018 is still in progress. This day 17+ students have been placed with 14+lakh packages in the year 2018, 40+ students places with a packages 8-12 lakhs which is an excellent statistics.RVCE provides one of the highest placed statistics among all the colleges in and around Bangalore.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

The campus has allocated all the boys hostels including the boy's mess, there is a confirmation of hygiene and clean food. The girls hostels are located near and around the college primises. The girls mess is located in respective hostels and even they are adorn to serve clean and hygiene healthy food. The curfew for the girls hostel is at 7PM and the costs sums up around ₹85,000/- Every department has it's own building and owns it's own classrooms. The campus is in total of 58 acres and includes a main library, 13 departments with their own department libraries and labs. The WiFi router is kept through out the campus to provide fast internet service to every student, staff and guest on campus.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

RV college of engineering is an excellent engineering institution whose admissions are done on merit. You can apply for the institution via CET rank or your COMEDK ranking. Students above 100 ranking in CET have a chance of getting a seat in computer science, the competition for the seats in this college is immense. The college doesn't have its own entrance examination, but surely evaluates the students potential to the maximum. The institution expects the student to have a minimum of 70% in each mathematics and science each in 10 STD, and minimum of 65% in mathematics and science in PU 2( State board). The cut off for computer science for the years (2017) is 114(KCET), (2016) is 138(KCET) and so on.

Academics and Faculty

The daily routine is from 9AM to 4:30PM having labs and counseling hours planned. The assessment and the work done in the campus is very professional and has a quality teaching methods, the teachers are qualified Phd and Ms holders. The college provides positive vibes and allows students to discover and work on their talents, interests and concerns. The assessment is done based on outcome based education where the students practical, industrial and real life knowledge is examined including the curriculum knowledge.

Fees and Scholarships

The fee for the merit students is the same as the KCET fees or the COMEDK fees and the fee for the hostel and food sums up to around ₹85,000/- .The students can even apply for education loans in order to complete their course. The college even supports the students by informing them about the scholarship in and around the city.

Clubs and Associations

The institution is a platform for various technical and non technical teams and clubs. We do provide clubs for dancing, singing, acting, film making etc. There are about 13 technical clubs working on different projects and ideas such as automation, robotics, machine learning, sport car, solar car and have proved their potential by winning many international and national awards for their respective works. The campus encourages every student towards creativity and innovation. There were many technical seminars which occur throughout the year. The campus also had its technical fest, entrepreneurship fest (E-SUMMIT) and the moon technical fests (ethnic day and 8th mile) which are organised and executed perfectly.
