Placements and Internships
I did my internship at BEML Pvt limited. Companies that visit our college are Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Accenture, Tata consultancy services Pvt Ltd, and Eveready. the average salary is around INR 3.5 lakh per annum. The highest package is INR 5 lakh per annum offered from Mercedes Benz. Alumni network is very good and extensive.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Total two hostels are there. Fees are around INR 4,000 per month. PGs with low cost and are available easily. The PG fee is around INR 2,000 per month. Food offered is good. Quality of classrooms is good. Labs are well equipped. WiFi connection is also there.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
One may write KCET to get the admission. For mechanical engineering, the cutoff was around 135 for general merit students.
Academics and Faculty
The daily routine begins from 7:30 am till 5:15 pm. Quality of teaching is very good. The Overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 24,000 is the course fee per year. I am not aware of any scholarships for general merit students. In my class students got the scholarship with caste certificates. Around 20 students got the scholarship. Loans might be needed. They are available easily from syndicate bank.
Clubs and Associations
There a number of student societies like ISHRAE, ONYX, BAHA, SAE, FORCE IKSHWAKU, IEEE available on the campuses. Main events are inter-branch sports meet, music art, and dance competition, and annual fest. Life is good.
