Placements and Internships

4.5

There were internships which were provided by the companies like Amazon, Ey, and de Shaw. Many companies came to campus placement i.e approx 25 to 30. There were high placements for B.com courses rather than other fields. The highest package was INR 4 lakh by Regalix and the average package was INR 2 lakh to INR 3 lakh per annum. Many top companies like Deloitte, Ey, Amazon, Wipro, State Street, FactSet, Sutherland's have come for the recruitment.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

There are no hostels provided in the college, but they can get good PGs available near to the college which costs around INR 2000 to INR 3000 per month.  Food provided by canteen is good, food may cost INR 20 to INR 25 per meal. We have a very good classroom, labs, and library. The library has a huge collection of books. We don't have any wifi facility but we can use PC's in labs for the college use.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

When I went for joining this college, the cutoff mentioned was more than 80% for B.com and other groups. There was no entrance but there was a short personal interview which was conducted before the admission.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

The classes used to start from 9:50 am after a college prayer and may end by 3:30 pm. We were having the assignment for internals and projects during the academic year. The method of teaching was very good but you may encounter some inexperienced lecturer in some cases. There are many facilities like canteen, sports ground on the campuses.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

The B.Com Course fee at Bhavan's Vivekananda College of Science Humanities and Commerce is INR 37,500 per year which is divided into two semesters. The merit students will be awarded the scholarships from the college.

They can also apply for the scholarship which will be given by the Telangana government up to INR 15,000 per annum.

Clubs and Associations

5

There are many clubs maintained by the college students like commerce club, Vibha club, and etc. Where students can perform in the various programmes conducted in the college. There are two grand fests that are Yuva Mahotsav and Bhavanotsav. Where Yuva Mahotsav is intra-college and Bhavanotsav are inter-collegiate as other colleges can also participate in the fest events.
