Kanika Prabala's Review on Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi

The college offers placement for final year students placing them in various MNCs. The University also offers CPC(Central Placement Cell) wherein students can register to appear for the placement interview and get the desired job. The salary range varies as per the job profile starting from INR 15,000 to INR 40,000 per month depending on one's caliber.

The college has no hostel but the university has hostel accommodation and the charges are nominal which can be found on the university site. However, there are PGs for both boys and girls around the college which can be found under INR 10,000 per month. The college has a canteen and it offers great food at economical price. 

To enroll in the course B.A English, one must have English as a mandatory subject in senior secondary. The cut off varies every year depending on the competition but scoring above 90-95% might get one a seat. The university comes up with cut off lists and functions mostly on the first come, first serve basis. 

With a highly optimistic environment, the faculty leaves no stone unturned to bring out the best of the students. With regular classes. Overall experience is good here. 

The course fee is structured in order to not create a havoc in a student's pocket with INR 6500 annually plus exam form fee which generally remains INR 800(approx) per semester. The college may provide concession to meritorious students depending on how they score.

The college offers various societies for drama, dance, theatre, fashion, folk dance, fine arts, debating etc. There is annual fest held every year which makes the heart of the college. It opens the way for students to showcase their talent and win prizes.
