Placements and Internships
I haven't done any internships. Yes, presidency college is well known for its placements and we have a lot of companies coming up for the placements in the beginning of the final year itself. Average salary starts from INR 2.1 Lakh per annum to INR 12 lakh per annum(which is the highest paid).
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
As far as I know, the college has 3 to 4 hostels where 2 hostels are for men and 2 for women. The hostel fees are not calculated in months instead it's done annually which ranges from INR 80,000 to INR 1 lakh. Food in college canteen starts from INR 20 to INR 100. The quality of classrooms is well furnished.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The admission process is simple. Students only have to pass 12th degree. There is no entrance exam. The typical cutoff is 60%.
Academics and Faculty
My class timing is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Every faculty gives the assignment. The quality and method of teaching are excellent when compared to other colleges. Overall experience in college is fascinating.
Fees and Scholarships
For BCA the course fee is INR 60,000 to 70,000 per year. I have no idea about the scholarship options in my college.
Clubs and Associations
There are various clubs like NSS, NCC, Rotaract, Human rights etc. Main festivals are management, tech, cultural. Life in college is best.
