G. B. Pant Engineering College has a good placement records of more then 70%. Various MNC recruits the students with various profiles. These companies include Maruti suzuki, godrej, honda, yamaha, tata AIG , infosys, TCS , HCL etc-
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- G. B. Pant Engineering College has very good labs for mechanical engineering , computer and electronics engineering.
- There is a basketball court and two badminton courts. .
- There is also seperate sports room in which students play TT. chess, carroms and other indoor games.
- The college is close to the bus stop and the delhi metro
- parking area is available for students with private vehicles.

- It is the only government college in delhi which offers B.TECH degree in mechanical engineering.
- It was established in 2007 by government of delhi, the college is in its developing stage.
- It offers B.TECH incomputer science engineering, electronic and communication engineering, and mechanical and automationengineering. there is an intake of 60 students every year.
- Students get admission on the basis of rank they get in entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU.
- Being a government and a very good college of IPU students only with good rank are able to get admissions in the college.
- The faculty is very supportive and helpful and they motivate the students.
Fees and Scholarships
- The university offers scholorship for economically weak students under the EWS scheme. Under this scheme the students who receive schlorship get a 100% waiver . Apart from this the students from backward classes get schlorship under different schemes of central and state government.

2. SAE Colligative Club-This club is basically for mechanical and automation engineering students. They coduct various seminars and participate in various competetions organised by SAE India like BAJAJ and Supra

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For getting admission in Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, every student has to clear an entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU named as CET every year. He/She should have to apply for it by filling up a form with necessary details required such as name, DOB, 12th passing year(qualifying exam), residents address, contact and few minor details like this. Then the students who cleared the CET have to fill counselling form and also its fee so that they will be eligible for counselling procedure and getting admission to any GGSIPU college. The student should have a min.of 55% in PCM if he is a GENERAL/OBC student and 50% in PCM if an SC/ST student. The typical cutoff rank for getting admission in GB Pant is around 6000 rank.
