Sanjeev Maurya's Review on Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology

I had completed my internship in 510 ARMY BASE WORKSHOPS. Key companies are TCS, WIPRO, ANGLO-EASTERN, ARMY, INFOSYS, ICICI, IDBI, HDFC etc. The average salary is INR 5 lakh per annum and highest salary is INR 25 lakh per annum. Students having 68 to 85% gets placed.

There are 2 hostels available for boys as well as girls. The hostel fee is INR 61000 per year for boys and girls which including mess charge, wifi, bed, light, waters etc. There are many PG's available outside our college whose range starting from INR 1000 to 5000 per month. The quality of the class is good. There are 3 libraries in our colleges which is open until morning 9.00 am to 10 pm. Wi-fi is available in all campus, canteens, ambulance, bus, and high-quality labs.

The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for B.tech - Mechanical engineering is students should have at least 70 % marks in PCM in 12'th board exam or students can take admission through AKTU       (APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY) entrance exam, having the rank between 1-25000.

College timing is from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. There are 2 sessionals and 1 PUT exams held in each semester and also having good assignments.There is very good quality method for teaching in MIET college, Teachers having a good qualification. Overall experience in college is fantastic.

Our course fee during the first year is INR 1,20013 per annum and afterward, it will be INR 98000 per annum. There are scholarships for SC / OBC students. The loans are available for financially weak students and it can be availed by PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK.

There are different societies in different Field such as SAE collegiate club (automobile society), Go-kart club, sports club, event coordinating club. The main festivals on campus are KOLAHAL which is run around 3 days including star night. The life in college is very good.
