Placements and Internships
The internship is provided by SASTRA itself Sastra itself. The campus placements in Sastra is quite good. The reputed companies like Microsoft, paypal, Amazon in the IT field and mrf, Ashok Leyland in the mechanical field and CPCL. We also have our own alumni meet for each and every Dept.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 10 hostels in Sastra. The hostels are manageable with the fees they collect INR 10k per annum. Mess food in Sastra is quite manageable. The quality of classrooms labs and libraries are more than sufficient and are quite good and well maintained. Sastra university provides a good wifi connection throughout the university.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
There's no such thing as eligibility criteria ,they take 75% of the board marks(doesn't matter which board and they don't consider the cut-offs) and 25% of your JEE examination. With this they provide a ranklist based on their entries.
Academics and Faculty
The classes start at 8:45 am and ends at 5:15 pm. The quality of teaching is quite good with highly qualified professors and well equipped labs for even further research in the field you are interested. The overall experience of the college according to me is quite good with all the opportunites and facilities provided by Sastra university
Fees and Scholarships
The Course fee is 55000 per semester. Many scholarships are available in Sastra. Every year around 50-60 people are getting this scholarships and move into abroad universities using SAP. Sastra is also providing educational loans with the help of CUB Bank.
Clubs and Associations
There are many societies in sasta for both curricular and extra curricular activities for students. Kuruksastra and carpedium ( inter and intra cultural fest). College life in Sastra can be quite good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admissions will be based only on merit. There will be two streams for admissions. Stream 1 is the All India rank and stream 2 is the Trichy and Thanjavur rank. Stream 2 is the easiest one than stream 2. You will come under stream 2 if you finish both of your 10th and 12th standard in either Trichy or Thanjavur district. The most demanded courses are CSE, ECE, and Mechanical.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to enter SASTRA is to have good marks in your higher secondary and a good total in your JEE MAIN. Coming to admission procedure, SASTRA purely believes in transparency!! According to their slogan, THINK MERIT, THINK SASTRA!, they follow a good administration in admitting students in their institution.The only way to enter SASTRA without good merit is to enter via NRI quota.No other ways are possible to enter SASTRA. It doesn't even follow reservation system. No need for any entrance exams to enter SASTRA, but attempting to JEE MAIN will help you a lot in your admission.
