Key companies like Microsoft, Infosys, pay pal, Mahindra tech, TCS offer jobs in which pay pal offers the highest package of INR 27 lakhs per annum and TCS is the mass recruiter which hire around 900 to 1500 students every year and for 2016 batch it was 750 students got placed in TCS. The average salary is INR 6 lakhs per annum.

There are 8 hostels for boys. The food in college is good. You have non-veg hotels outside the college. Mess fee per month is INR 3,500. Sastra's classrooms are good with projectors and lab is well maintained.

The eligibility criteria for joining in SASTRA is the student should have completed 12th grade and must have passed JEE MAIN for stream 1 and stream 2 is purely based on his/her 12th marks and no entrance exams are needed for SASTRA. The cut off for my course is little high and the student must have a more than 90% marks with JEE MAIN score more than 100.

The class timing is from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm and students will have three CIA exams before they attend their semester exam. The quality of teaching is good and the faculty are highly qualified.

Fee for my course is INR 55,000 per semester and hostel fee depends upon the hostel which you choose and it varies from INR 8000-16000 per year. If the student needs loan Punjab National Bank offers the best choice as it has the lowest interest rate of 8.94%.

SASTRA has many clubs like the Studio for drama and literary society for English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, drama club, SEDS - a club for space related things, Robotics club, physics club, photography club (The Foto hub), 300dpi (poster making and editing) etc. We have a technical event called Daksh, a cultural event called Kuruksastra, a sporting event called colloseum.
