The key companies are TATA Consultancy services. Others companies include PayPal, Infosys, Zoho, etc. Highest paid salary is INR 21 lakhs/annum. The average salary will be approximately 6 to 7 lakhs/annum. we have an average alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
we have 5 to 6 hostels. you can rarely find a PG as the college is located on the highway. Meal per day is around INR 100 to 120. but the food is not that good. Infrastructure overall is average.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Board marks and JEE MAIN score are the main criteria for admission in SASTRA. No special entrance examination is conducted at SASTRA.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are too long. the assignments are given regularly. Quality of teaching Is good though it depends on different faculties of College.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 1.1 lakhs per year is the Tuition fee. Scholarships are available based on GPA, attendance, etc Loans are not really required. But if needed can be availed easily from CUB bank at SASTRA.
Clubs and Associations
There are many societies and clubs. the college has 4 cultural fests and 2 sports event. The main cultural fest is Kuruksastra Other fests like Daksh Utsav and carpe diem. For sports main event is Colosseum. Life in general at Sastra is good and freedom has been provided by the college though as students we feel it's less.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are normally from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm with leisure hours in between. There will be three internal assessment tests out of which the marks scored in two internal assessment tests will be added to the Internal marks. Assignments will be given at the end of the semester in all the subjects.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : SASTRA doesn't have any entrance examinations of its own but it considers the JEE MAIN marks and the board marks. If JEE MAIN is not attended then only the board marks are considered.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining in SASTRA is the student should have completed 12th grade and must have passed JEE MAIN for stream 1 and stream 2 is purely based on his/her 12th marks and no entrance exams are needed for SASTRA. The cut off for my course is little high and the student must have a more than 90% marks with JEE MAIN score more than 100.
