My college does not offer professional courses and hence there are few campus placements. (This year it had started MBA program). Alumni are regularly invited to college seminars and events.

There are three hostels within college campus and the fees are INR 50000 per year so around INR 4100 per month. There are many PGs near the college and the cost is INR 3000 to INR 7000 per month. Cost of food is included in hostel fees. Infrastructure quality of newer sections is commendable, older sections need renovation.

Usually, Those students who have obtained 55% to 60% marks in class 10+2 are eligible for B.Sc. Most colleges and universities select students through entrance exams. Some choose by 10+2 exam marks. I took the entrance exam which was conducted by ITC college, Lucknow. There is no typical cutoff for the course. It fluctuates from college to college.

Classes start at 8 am and usually ends at lunch (1:35 pm) and some classes run post lunch too. Trimester test ( three test per year) are taken in each subject to evaluate the performance of the student. Practical projects are carried out in labs twice a week. Final examinations of Lucknow University which are held during March to May. Quality of teaching is good. Method of teaching varies from teacher to teacher. Some teachers use a projector. Overall experience is good.

The course fees are around INR 10,000 per year for regular students while it is around INR 17000 per year for self-financed students. Scholarships are offered for economically weak students, toppers of the year, subject toppers. I do not know how many students get the scholarship. Loans are not needed.

There are Student Government Association(SGA) which manages all the activities of the college. Student Christian Mission (SCM) which manages religious and promote religious activities of the college and English literary club which organize and take part in different English festivals and sports club. College life here is one of the most balanced college life. There is a right balance between extracurricular activities ,academics and fun. Rules and regulations are moderate in nature.
