In general, life is good in college.. There are various societies (dance, photography,social service, etc). Main festival in cultural we have is Aura and Cantata
Food in our college is not so good but it is ok.. I am not a hosteler so can't say about the fees.. Classrooms are good but there is a problem of air conditioning.. There are many students but very few fans..

Eligibility :- 50% marks in aggregate for B.COM & B.H.Sc, 55%marks in aggregate for B.Sc(bio&maths), 40%marks in aggregate for B.A (MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY MAY BE RELAXED FOR CHRISTIAN STUDENTS) PROCEDURE:- College prospectus and the application form are available online & offline of Rs. 900. Entrance test fee or a bank draft of rs. 700 must be deposited or attached with the offline form.
There are many students societies like sga CGA and many more The college is usually amazing there are many functions that are conducted in college. Recently Anaya Panday has visited the college.
The classes are quite good and proper ventilation is provided in each class. Labs are also well maintained. the library is very nice it also has an American centre from where students can issue the books. Each department has its respective library.
The time table for daily classes is appropriate for a student. Project topics are also gove to the students on time and for presenting the dates are also displayed on the notice board of respective departments. The method of teaching is a good teacher to put effort into the student's performance. They also take trimester to check the student's performance. The overall experience at the college is good.
Fees - For BSc students, there are two categories one is regular students for which fee is around 12,000 pa and the second category is sfs students whos fee is 23,000 PA. Scholarships - The college itself gave various scholarships to the students based on their performance in college as well as in university examination and government scholarships are also given. Almost every student who had filled his/her form correctly got scholarship.
They also make career counseling cells for intersted students. College also invites several internships giving companies throughout the academic year thus giving the student a golden opportunity to go in the field they want too.
Eligibility criteria- The eligibility criteria for BSc bio and Maths is a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of intermediate. For BSc home science and bachelors of commerce minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of intermediate. For bachelors of arts minimum of 45% aggregate of intermediate. Admission procedure - You have to fill the form either online or offline. The offline form is available at college. After this, you have to give the entrance test which held in college itself. Merit list is displayed on the college notice board and on the college website also. If you are selected, you can come on the counseling date. About entrance- For each course entrance is held in which general knowledge and English questions are asked. For BSc bio and maths - physics Chemistry and biology/maths questions are asked in addition.

ALL OVER 4 BUILDINGS for hostels are assigned and some are under construction. We have a separate section or ground for almost every sport. We have a huge infrastructure with big labs and classrooms.
Projects and practicals are conducted on a daily basis which helps us enhancing our capturing power. Method of teaching is excellent and the faculty is understanding and hardworking. Which also helps us enhancing our powers of retaining things.

Their are 4 hostels and few are still under construction it's infrastructure is amazing and it covers a large area. With proper grounds for almost every sport. We have huge classes labs and dining halls with 24hr WiFi network it's the oldest association and is considered Asia's first lady collage. We have a modern canteen area with every required products

Their is no eligibility criteria as such for any school basically the admission considered on the bases of marks scored by pupils. Theri are no such entrance exams u are actually known for your % of marked scored in your 10th boards this process is only applicable for the intermediates.

There is a committee called S.G.A. which looks after basic amenities of the college and students. Apart from this editorial board and cultural department are there. There is college fest every year and many other events in the leisure hut. College life in Isabella Thoburn College is funny.
Hostels are there within the campus and being a day scholar I have not much idea about its fee structure. The quality of classrooms is average but the library is excellent.
Classes start from 8:00 am and run till 4:00 pm. Punctuality of the teachers is really commendable. Method of teaching and its quality is appreciable. One doesn't require coaching classes if he/ she attends classes daily.
The fee for my course is INR 10,000 per year. The government provides scholarships to the students on the basis of merit.
