Vikas Kasera's Review on Pillai College of Engineering

Talking about placements hadn't been impressive till recently but they've shown some improvement in the last couple of years. The college manages to place close to 50% of the students with decent salaries. Of course, those who get placed are pretty happy, with companies like Accenture offering acceptable salaries of INR 3.2 lakh per annum. The minimum salary is INR 2.16 lakh per annum and the average salary is INR 3.12 lakh per annum. The maximum salary is INR 3.84 lakh per annum. All the remaining students from other branches usually need to go to other colleges for pool campus.

The infrastructure is best and most attractive compared to other colleges. The canteen serves good quality food, but the prices are a little bit high.Quality of Classrooms, Labs, and Libraries are well maintained. The college has a basketball cum volleyball ground and a separate ground for football and cricket.

I am a 3rd-year student in Pillai of Engineering (PCE) college. My stream is electronics and telecom engineering. The eligibility criteria for my course was to pass 10+2 exam. The students can get the admission on the basis of MAH CET marks. If your score is not good in MAH CET exam and 10+2, you can apply for management or Malayalam minority quota.

The quality of teaching is pretty good . Academics wise the college is above average.

The course fees of BE are INR 4,70,000/- for general category students. There are many scholarship options available for students. Students can avail loan from syndicate bank which offers banking option to the college.

There are many management, tech, sports and cultural activities are organized by our college.
