Ayush Praveen's Review on Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology

Classrooms are good and equipped with modern day things. Infrastructure is also good. What i do not appreciate is the labs in here. They are instruments and reagents deprived and due to which most of the students are not able to perform their practicals and also due to limited stocks we are not able to perform our final year projects with much ease and the projects cannot match the level of the projects that are carried out in the a research institutes by students like us only. Rest i can say that all the departments in our college are wifi connected but our hostels are not equipedd with those facilities.

Academic Schedule is good, i cannot say it upto the mark as there is no separate time or days alloted for extra activities. Subjects available are general, however the electives are good. Teachers try very hard to teach however they are not quite aware of the what a modern day student needs and hence much of our coursework is based on thereotical classes rather than interesting practical portions and lab works. We try to arrange as much as possible to enhance our learning such as for guest lectures, workshops and technical events.

What i beleive is that the student association here(named Student Committee GBPEC) is actually doing for all the extra curriculars that a budding engineer needs. They organize for all sort of student activities and fest also however they are actually a little financially deprived so they cannot work upto their fullest potential still they try to make best out of things
