Placements and Internships
- There is a number of companies who offer internship at COEP with avg. stipend of 12,000/-
- Companies like Hyundai, TATA motors, Mercedez Benz, Bharat forge, etc. come for campus placement.
- Almost 85% of eligible students get placed with an avg package of 5,00,000/- per annum.
- PSUs like ONGC, HPCL, also come offering 12 -15 lakhs package.
- COEP has huge alumni network and there are many scholarships given by alumni.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 10 hostels which are at 0.5 km from college.
- Among them, 7 buildings are for boys and 3 for girls.
- There is no accommodation for M tech students.
- Hostel fees are 22,000 per annum.
- There are four students in a room.
- There is a WiFi service with the daily limit of 1 GB.
- There are 5 dining halls. Food quality is excellent. There is Variety in all meals which will cost 45/- per meal
- Classrooms have projectors and well furnished.
- The college has a huge library of various books.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria: clear grouping in 10+2 ( i.e. 50 per in PCM for GEN and 45 per for SC/ST )
- Entrance Exam: MHT-CET
- Cutoff: 184/200 for GEN,183/200 for TFWS, 178 OBC, above 150 SC, 140 ST
Academics and Faculty
- Classes start from 8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m
- There is a continuous evaluation system.
- Exam pattern is 20-20-60.
- Quality and method of teaching are good.
Fees and Scholarships
- For GEN in first year 70,000 and there is 10% increment every year.
- For TFWS candidates 55,000 ( 15,000 is tuition fees ).
- SC Candidates can get Rajarshi Shahu scholarship which is 1,00,000 approx.
- For OBC Freeship is there.
- For OPEN candidates central sector scholarship which is 10,000 per annum.
Clubs and Associations
- There are 33 clubs in college which are boat club, janeev, cultural, robotics, BAJA, SUPRA, etc.
- We have a technical event named MIND SPARK and a sports event named ZEST in which many colleges and students participate.
- We celebrate festivals like Ganpati, Navratri, Holi etc.
- Overall college life was cool and enjoyable

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Currently admissions to COEP are through CET. The cutoffs for Mech and CS is pretty high above 95% and for other it could go upto 85%.
