Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Well, then there was no entrance examination and cutoffs were the only hurdles to be taken care of at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. 1st cutoff was near to 97.25% and left me heart broken. Then it gradually declined over the next cutoff from 97.25% in first cutoff to 95.75% in the third cutoff and in the last it was 95% in the 5th cutoff (General) and i did not get admission till then. Few seats remained vacant after the 5th cutoff and so merit list were decided to be brought out. The first merit list stood at a high of 94.75% and i got my name in it. But i took admission in the second merit list that came to 94.5%. It was worth waiting for the merit list to come up:)
