9:00 am - 5:50 pm is the college timings in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management which we need to attend classes as per the time table.
On an average, we need to attend 5 class in a day (labs are included).
The quality of teaching is good but it can be improved.
The experience in college is good.

Course fee in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management is Rs. 1.20 lakh(internet handling charges included) for the first semester and Rs. 1.11lakh from second-semester onwards.
As per govt rules, scholorships are given + 100% scholarship (tuition fees only) to that studentd who are in top 3 (general) + first 9 students of other category are given the same benefits.

Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process

Candidates who have passed their class 12th exam or any other qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015, or those who are appearing in class 12th exam in 2016 are eligible to join National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management.
Candidates who appeared in class 12th/equivalent qualifying examinations in 2013 and did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2014 are not eligible for admission.
Subject combinations in the qualifying examination shall be as under Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects from Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Biotechnology.
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
Besides a candidate must have appeared in JEE MAIn - 2016.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:

NIFTEM has all the associations like sports, technical, cultural etc. it has niftem sports league every year.
It also has inter-college fest edesia.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:

Teaching quality is very nice, all the faculty members are very helpful. one can make his/her concepts strong easily.
My overall experience is awesome here. NIFTEM provides lots of opportunities to prove yourself.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

Course fee is around Rs 6 lakhs per annum for whole course but yes, there is a provision of scholarship to students who lies in merit. Their tution fee would get refunded and then whole course would cost around Rs 2-3 lakhs annually only.
This merit scholarship is for top three students but there is merit cum means scholarship also for 8 more students who are ggood at studies and financially weak.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION:

The college infrastructure is unique one.
Computer labs, different departments and laboratories, animal product laboratory, Central instrumental Laboratory, Food Packaging Laboratory, Food microbiology lab, dairy enginnering lab, Food engineering lab, Food science and Technology Lab, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics Labs are well equipped and settled.
The work for Pilotplant here started already.
