Placements and Internships
- Well as it's my first year I have not faced any placement interview yet. But according to the Stats of last few years top companies like cognizant, Infosys do come to the Jaypee University of Information Technology for placements giving an average package of Rs. 4.5 lakh or 3 lakh.
- Highest package this year was Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 5.5 lakh of 2 students of ECE branch.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Getting into Jaypee university is a student have to clear JEE MAIN within the cutoff criteria.
- When I got admitted, our rank was based on 60% in JEE MAIN score and 40 % in CBSE boards score.
- Ultimately as student needs to be a balance in competitive exam like JEE and as well good in CBSE.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes in the Jaypee University of Information Technology are from 9 to 5.
- The number of classes in a day vary from batch to batch. In a day there are 2 lectures and the number of practicals and Tutorials vary in a day. There are 1 tutorial and 2 practicals in a week for each subject.
- Assignments are given to the students and a date is appointed for submission. The doubts of assignments are discussed in tutorials which actually clarifies the concept.
- There are 3 exams in a semester t1, t2, t3. Also, quizzes are held.
- The total CGPA is calculated on the basis of these test, quiz, assignments, and attendance. Attendance also plays an important role as 5 marks are for attendance.
- The teachers are well qualified and use the latest technology for teaching.
- I really appreciate the teachers and also the labs are well equipped.
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees iat Jaypee University of Information Technology for B.Tech is very nominal i.e Rs. 14 lakh for the course.
- Also one of the most important key features is that it provided an opportunity to do the last semester in Florida as it has a tie up with universities in Florida this provides foreign exposure to students which is very important in becoming a successful engineer.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For B.Tech, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) admission eligibility is through JEE Main. The eligibility is 10+2, with 80% of marks. Besides that, the stream selection for the course is based on your JEE rank. Basically, 80% of the seats are filled through JEE mains marks, while the remaining 20% are allotted through the college level counseling based on the merit list of the qualifying examination marks.

Academics & Faculty : Monday to Saturday classes are from 9:00 A.M to 5 P.M depending on the time table. Quality of teaching is good but rigourous examination criteria leads to no personal time for learning new things. Overall experience is good.
