  • In the final year of our degree program, we have a course named RAWE (Rural agriculture work experience) which include industrial training as one of its components. I have done my industrial from Nainital Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh Limited Lalkuan, District Nainital.
  • This placement portal automates the placement process at the college. Students and alumni can now access the placement office, college related news, search jobs and access information to help enhance career and advance their skill. 

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities:

  • About 3000 students are lodged in 22 hostels each of which is provided with:
    • Cafeteria
    • Common rooms with color TV
    • Hostel Library
    • Music Room
    • Indoor Games
    • Outdoor courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball and tennis
    • Incoming telephone service.
  • The food services in each hostel are on no profit no loss basis and are run by cooperative management through a students' food committee.
  • For guest and parents, we have an International guest house for accommodation it cost about 300 to 1000 (based on the type of room one wants)
  • The mess bill for a particular semester (6 months ) is up to Rs. 15000
  • The hostel has wifi facility,library facility

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • The student must be a graduate to enter in this Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar with biology or maths as a major subject in class 12th.
  • All admissions in the University shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University.Candidates other than Bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are not eligible to seek admission directly to the Undergraduate and Masters’ degree programs in the University. However, they can apply to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. They will have to submit a separate application as and when called by ICAR/VCI, New Delhi and take All India Competitive Examinations and attend counseling at New Delhi for seat allotment
  • The top rankers up to 1-60 are eligible for veterinary course but for agriculture, the student up to 200 is required to get admission to b.sc agriculture

  • The college has many different societies Agriculture society, Chetna Student wing, Spic may.
  • The college also organizes many types of national level, college level festivals.
  • The life at college is excellent as a student get theoretical as well as practical experience as the degree program is structured in a proper way.
