Madan Mohan Jaiswal's Review on JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Noida

• Many companies visited JSS Academy of Technical Education Campus, mostly IT Companies. TCS hired 200+ student in 2016, Wipro has hired 100 students from 2016 and 2017 batch. TechM, QA Infotech, Titan, and much more companies visited including Management Companies.
• Average Salary they used to offer was of 3 lakhs. Highest Package offered was of 7.5 lakhs. Almost 90% of the students of CS/IT students gets placed, 60% of EC students. 
• 
  Alumni Network is quite a good.

• There are two hostels in JSS Academy of Technical Education, one is AC and another one is non-AC. There are limited number of seats and are available on the first come first serve basis or you should have some big contact.
• The Hostel fees is approx. 75000 annually. 
  There are many private hostels/PGs outside the college. Therae are many flats available in the nearby apartments. The cost of PGs/hostels is approx. 2.5k per month for room and flats are approx. 16k to 20k per month for 2 BHK.
• There is a food court in college but you won't get good food anywhere, neither in college nor in hostels. The cost of thali is approx. 50 rupees.
• The Quality of classrooms is average. There is no AC room in college. Wi-Fi is not available in mobile phone as MAC address filtration is there and allowed only on Laptops. College Infrastructure is quite good.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in JSS Academy of Technical Education is that you should be 12th passed. I took UPSEE entrance exam in 2013 which was conducted by UPTU. For qualifying, you have to score 152 marks. For taking admission in JSSATE, Noida you should get around 5K rank. I don't know the present scenario of admission. There is one more way if you are having a lot of money, you can get admission through Management Quota. 

• The daily routine of JSS Academy of Technical Education is that class starts at 08:30 to 04:30 with a lunch of 1 hour (12:30-01:30). There is no specified project timing. For the projects, you have to give external time.
• There used to be 2 sessionals and 1 PUT exam and finally end with external semester exam conducted by UPTU.
• Some of the faculties are good in teaching having perfect knowledge and always being supportive. Even some are not good in teaching but are helpful. If there are pros then there are some cons in it. Here the cons are worst than ever.
• 
  The overall experience in the college was good. But the problem you are going to face is for attendance. You have to maintain at least 75% of attendance in the whole semester.

• The JSS Academy of Technical Education fees is 95,400 annually. But you have to pay approx. 1.25 lakhs for 1st year and 1.05 for next 3 years.
• Scholarship is available for students whose parents' annual income is less than 2 lakhs. It is provided by UP Govt. of approx. 56000 for General/OBC students and 1 lakh for ST/SC students.
  As for the record, you can visit the official website www.scholarship.up.nic.in
  I don't have any clue about the number of students getting Scholarship.
• If the family background is very well you can take Education loan provided by Govt. It is easily available by any bank in India ( the most preferred bank is PNB). 
      

• There are many Societies in JSS Academy of Technical Education. Each department has their own personal society such CS, IT, EC, EE, ME, CE, IC, EEE, English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics. There are societies of Dance & Drama also.
• College used to conduct one festival in which Technical and Cultural goes together in an even semester. There is one sports festival in an odd semester.
• Life in college is one of the best parts of your life. Enjoy it as much as you can and don't forget to study also.
