Placements and Internships
Sometimes college recommends various companies for the internship. Placements are really good and TPO is very active. Highest package offered by the company was Rs 14 Lacs. Alumni network is not that strong. Around 50-60 % of students get placed.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There 3 big hostels two for boys and one for girls. Hostel fees for non ac is around 84000 per year. Lots of PGs are available outside the college. Food quality is average. Labs, Library and WiFi facilities are really good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You have to give UPTU Entrance exam after 12th to get admission into this college with a good rank. This college offers b.tech in several streams. EC branch is a bit strict but you will learn a lot. Other branches are good as well.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are generally 8:30 am - 3:30 pm which gets reduced further. Assignments are being provided by the respective teachers. Special focus on projects.
Fees and Scholarships
The fees for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering) is around INR 1,00,000 - 1,25,000 per annum. Students get the scholarship from upstate govt. Loans can be easily availed.
Clubs and Associations
There are several societies working in this college in different fields. Tech fest, Sports Fest, Cultural fest and other small functions are organized every year. College life is fabulous.
