Placements and Internships
- I have done a training at MTA-India in advanced java.
- Companies include..TCS,Wipro,Accenture,Infosys,Tata Steel,L&T n many more.
- Avg salary is 3.5 lakh in IT Sector.last year we had more than 50% overall placement.
- Alumni network is very good and they have always been helpful in Birsa Institute of Technology.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 25 total hoatels including boys and girls in Birsa Institute of Technology.
- An annual fee of 3000 for hostel maintainence is to be paid.
- Students can take room outside college but PG is not available.
- We have mess in our hostel which costs Rs 80 per day.
- Library is very rich.Labs are also good.The only problem is we dont have wi-fi network.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility creteria for admission procedure in Birsa Institute of Technology was through an entrance exam jcece. You should passed class 12th and have a domicile of jharakhand.
- Cutoffs vary year to year..on an average top 750 rankers get admission in first counselling.
Academics and Faculty
- We have classes from 9 am to 4:30 pm including lunch break of an hour.
- Proffessors teach quite well and the overall experience is good in Birsa Institute of Technology.
Fees and Scholarships
- For boys its 12 thousand annually and for girls its completely free.
- Scholarships are also available for BPL category and many students avail it in Birsa Institute of Technology.
- No..loan is not needed.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many clubs 13 in total.They function very well and play a key role in our college life.
- We have college fest.both technical and cultural as well as sports activities.
- Life is good in Birsa Institute of Technology .
