Placements and Internships
- Many reputed companies like HP visit the college each year to take students for an internship but for that one has to clear the exam conducted by the company.
- If you wish to have an internship/training then you can easily issue the request letter from the college.
- Each year many key companies like Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, L&T, Mindtree, Cybage, Think and Learn Pvt Ltd and many more visit the college for campus recruitment with an average package of Rs 3-4 lacs per annum and even with highest salary figure like Rs 6-14 lakhs per annum.
- Each year apart from core branches, 90% of the students get placed in reputed companies and for core branches, the college conducts special classes to prepare the students for GATE exam.
- These classes are conducted by the faculty of IIT's. Students of Mechanical and Electrical branches are also allowed to appear for the campus recruitment of IT companies at Institute of Technical Education & Research, [ITER] Bhubaneshwar.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

- The eligibility criteria to get into this college is having the following:
- 1. PCM in class 12th.
- 2. Average marks of 50 in PCM.
- The college conducts its own entrance examination known as SAAT (Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test).
- If you have appeared in this test and secured good marks then chances of getting admission is very high.
- Although allotment of seats depends on its availability as people with good rank get their choice of branch first. If someone has not appeared in this test then he/she is eligible to apply with the JEE MAIN and OJEE scores after the SAAT counselling.
- The typical cutoff for different branches varies each year so getting to the counselling venue would only help for information.
- But if you do not get your choice of a branch then you can change your branch in the 2nd year of college only if you score greater than 8.5 CGPA in the first year of college at Institute of Technical Education & Research, [ITER] Bhubaneshwar.
Academics and Faculty
- The day in college starts early at 8 AM in the 1st year and 9 AM in rest of the years.
- One has to do a lot of projects and assignments in each subject. The most important thing in the college is an attendance of 75% in each subject.
- If one fails to do so he/she has to appear for summer quarter exams to clear the backlogs by attending the classes again for 1 month.
- The quality and method of teaching are average and most of the teachers switch from English to Odiya language while taking lectures at Institute of Technical Education & Research, [ITER] Bhubaneshwar.

Fees and Scholarships

- There are many student societies and clubs in the college for dance, painting, social activities,etc.
- The main college fest is known as GENESIS and CHAKRAVYUH which takes place each year in the month of December and January.
- Various sports leagues are also organized each year like SOA PREMIER LEAGUE at Institute of Technical Education & Research, [ITER] Bhubaneshwar.
- The college life is too much fun if you get into one of the clubs (cultural or sports) for which you really are passionate about.
