Placements and Internships
- I am getting training from NOVA automation company right now. Which is related to Electronics field.
- Many companies are hiring the students from my college like Infosys, L&T, Scientec, ACE group and much more.
- Average salary figure is about Rs 1,20,000 to 3,20,000 per year of starting according to the requirement and knowledge of the student at GIT Kalol.
- If you have 6.5 above CGPA overall performance then you will eligible for any company of the campus.
- Many alumni students get a job from the campus and they are earning very well right now.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 2 hotels are there nearby the college.
- I don't know about hostel fees.
- But many students are living there.
- PGs are a bit far away from the college. Food is very delicious at GIT Kalol.
- Such a big canteen is there in the college. And all types of foods are available in the canteen. And the cost is very effective.
- All the facilities are very good. Big classrooms are there equipped with a projector in every class.
- Laboratories are excellent. Library is very huge. All the types of books are available there.
- Academic books, as well as novels and some general knowledge, are also available there.
- And Wi-Fi facility is very good. All the blocks contain separate WiFi router outside the classroom.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Hello, I Vijendra Meghani student of Gandhinagar Institute of technology from the department of Electronics and communication Engineering.
- I am in the final year right now.
- Admission in this college is not a big problem.
- If you have at least 60 above percentage in 12th science and some good score in JEE MAIN then, you get easily admission in this college.
- All the admission procedure is under ACPC.
- They allot you college from your choice which you already filled in the choice filling form.
- This is totally online process so no worry about to go for admission in the college directly.
- After completing 12th science you have to appear for JEE MAIN entrance examination and based on that you can choose any college from all over the Gujarat.
- But in Gujarat here, admission is based on the ratio of 40% marks of your JEE MAIN and 60% marks of your 12th science.
- And after the combination of these two ACPC gives your Rank.
- This rank is useful for check whether you will eligible for particular college or not.
- At my time my rank is nearly about 14000 in all over Gujarat so from that I can easily check which college is suitable for me.
- If you are interested in Electronics and communication engineering then you should have to pass the 12th science exam with any percentage meanwhile, you should also have to pass in JEE MAIN entrance examination.
- If you get higher marks then you can also apply for TFWs seat.
- And you have to pay only 1650 per semester. But for that, you have to be eligible for some criteria.
Academics and Faculty
- College timings are from 9.00AM to 4.00 PM. All the classes are for 1 hour.
- And Lab classes are for 2 hours.
- In Class test (mid-sem) there is no any burden because it is only 20 marks exam and all questions are Multiple choice questions (MCQ).
- Some necessary assignment you have to write at the end of the semester.
- The quality and method of teaching are excellent at GIT Kalol.
- All the facilities are well qualified. So no worry regarding it.
- My overall experience in the college is good.
- I think this is the best college for study as well as for extra-curricular activities.
Fees and Scholarships
- For Engineering in any branch on GIT, you have to pay Rs 56,000 per year.
- You can apply for a scholarship based on your performance.
- Many students get the scholarships at GIT Kalol.
- If you are under a category of low income then, you can get a scholarship for sure.
- No loans are needed for that because you have to pay the fees semester by semester. So you can easily pay it.
Clubs and Associations
- College is managed by Platinum Group Foundation.
- All types of festivals are organised by the college.
- Techfest and Cultural fest are very popular in our college.
- In both the fest, any celebrity will be coming in the college and give a live performance.
- Moreover, sports week is also there who likes sports at GIT Kalol.
- There are all types of games including cricket, football, badminton, chess and many more.
- Life in this college is superb in general.
- You experienced all the things in your life which you can't experience in another college.
