  • National Law School of India University is one of the stalwart institutions of India in the field of Law. It was established in 1987, with the motive to promote innovation and creativity in Judiciary. The admission can be sought by appearing for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Other such information can be gathered by visiting college's website nls.ac.in.
  • The daily routine of an undergrad, the classes are held on a daily basis, of 4 hours generally, timings are from 8:50 AM. Special classes can be held after a daily dose of classes. The University follows the exam pattern as Trimester System. One Trimester is 3 months. Exams are held in 2 halves- Mid-Term Exams( in the mid of a Trimester) and End Term Exams. There are 4 subjects per Trimester. Special single courses of optional nature are also available.
  • Projects are to be made compulsorily for all the subjects. One has freedom of choosing one's own topic.
  • Most of the faculty is over of the best in their field. All kinds of methods are used by professors to indulge students in discourses and discussions. Professors are highly interactive and ensure that there is freedom of expression for every student. NLSIU has been a great adventure since I have been a member of the community. It's one of the universities which is run single-handedly by students. Co-curricular activities are the backbone of this college. Students have won numerous debate competitions and Moot Competitions, and have brought laurels to home. Games, Sports are eminent part of college. NLSIU organizes one of the popular sports fest- Spiritus. It also organizes one of the most famous rock fests of country- Strawberry. Overall, NLSIU is a well-balanced amalgam of academics, co-curricular activities and knowledge.
