Placements and Internships
- It has a very strong alumni network. Most of the alumni are either GM or NRI.
- Average package of students getting placed is 4 - 4.5 lacks per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- In Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, there are 4 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. Two more hostels are currently under construction. Hostel fees is Rs 12000/-.
- Meals are average. Every month a gala feast is organized in each hostel. The food quality in this day is out of the world.
- There are number of P.G.'s available for students at reasonable rates outside the college campus. But try to reside in hostel.
- There are no AC classrooms but they are well ventilated. Hostels have 24*7 unlimited wifi with appreciable download speed. There is only 1 central library. But finding books is a tiring affair given the frequent misplacement of books

- The admission procedure is through Ojee. But now they intake students through Jeep main ranking.
- The eligibility criteria to get into Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is a rank below 70000 in all india so as to ensure a seat in core branch.

- Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (VSSUT) is one of the most oldest colleges in Odisha. The institution recently became centrally funded. Located in the western part of the state, this institute enjoys a scenic beauty adorned with serene environment and pre-requisite for knowledge intake.
- The college timing is quite flexible. Class Timings differ from day to day basis and is different for all branches. There would be a single day in a week which would be the longest i.e from 8.00am to 5.00pm with a lunch time of 1.5 hours from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. The class duration is, of 50 minutes and lab of 2.5 hours.
- Assignments are given on semester basis. For a single semester you would be required to submit assignments that would be hardly of 10 pages per subject. In one semester there would be 2 exams one of 20 marks (mid sem) and the other of 70 marks (end sem). The remaining 10 marks depends on the assignment and attendance.
- Teachers are highly qualified and are very qualified. You can perturb them anytime to clarify your doubts. There are quality lecture notes on the college website which would be handy during exams. Vssut plays a vital role in shaping you and your career. It teaches you to be responsible and patient. It makes you adaptive to extreme conditions. You will always gain a memorable experience here.

- College life is pretty amazing. You will gain a life worth experience throughout your 4 years.
- There are 5 fests in all and are quite exciting. The quality of fests is limited compared to other colleges given the funding and sponsorship the college manages for fests. The fests are the best time to enjoy the life.
- There are number of clubs like singing dancing dramatics sports robotics Baha etc to showcase your talents. Try to be a member of Atleast one of the clubs.
