College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 5 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels with monthly fees 2000 including fooding in all the hostels MCA, MSc ,MTech and other higher courses are there.all of them are provided with good hostel facilities.
- We don't have daily food system .we have guest meal system and cost of 30 rupees. The departments are provided with AC and wifi. A central library, a central garden also there
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The entrance exam is JEE Main.
Academics and Faculty
As a reputed institute in odisha,the daily routine is fabulous including very useful project works and labs.method of teaching is good. My experience in vssut is fabulously memorable and will be the same.
Fees and Scholarships
- We have to pay 40000/- per year as course fees .
- We have good scholarship schemes for SC ST candidate but not so satisfactory ones for general candidates. Average of 70% students get scholarships.
- No loans are needed
Clubs and Associations
- Vibrant,Sanskar Kendra,erotica, Souls ,SSG society ,Robotics are various clubs in our college. I personally an active member of sanskara Kendra where we teach the nearby village students for free. Spring fest(vacant), Tech Fest(saves) sports fest (Illumina)and Dramatic fest are organized. It is a very enjoyable and cheerful life in vsut

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligible criteria in the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is minimum of 75% in board exam. Entrance examination is JEE-main.cutoff of my course is AIR-75,000.
Academics & Faculty : Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (VSSUT) is one of the most oldest colleges in Odisha. The institution recently became centrally funded. Located in the western part of the state, this institute enjoys a scenic beauty adorned with serene environment and pre-requisite for knowledge intake. The college timing is quite flexible. Class Timings differ from day to day basis and is different for all branches. There would be a single day in a week which would be the longest i.e from 8.00am to 5.00pm with a lunch time of 1.5 hours from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. The class duration is, of 50 minutes and lab of 2.5 hours. Assignments are given on semester basis. For a single semester you would be required to submit assignments that would be hardly of 10 pages per subject. In one semester there would be 2 exams one of 20 marks (mid sem) and the other of 70 marks (end sem). The remaining 10 marks depends on the assignment and attendance.
