Placements and Internships
- We are permitted to do internship from wherever we want. There are so many companies which come to our college for the placement drives. Most of them are software companies and some of them are core companies.
- Average salary per year may be around 6 to 8 lakhs per annum. And more than 80% students are benefited by these companies.
- Alumni network is very good. So many old alumni come to our college whenever they are called y our faculties for motivating students. There is a group of JEC alumnus in which we can talk to our alumnus and take suggestions from them related to our carrier.
Academics and Faculty
- The college has very experienced faculties. Faculties are very motivating helpful and also humble in nature. The placement is very good. Students of this college are very talented and intelligent. Even faculties believe in that if a student is studying in JEC college it means he or she has something special, we only need to recognize it and improve it. In the college, the sport and cultural events are organized which are very useful platforms to show our talent and fulfill our desires. The special thing about this college is all the events are organized and coordinated by students only that means in the college student is everything. Also in our college, so many tech fests take place in which we meet alumni of JEC college which are a very wonderful experience. We learn the lot from them and also get motivated . The good thing is that all the alumni of JEC college are in a good position now.
- The college campus is very open kind of and since it is an engineering college there is no ragging takes place here. The hostel of the college is also very good. All the facilities are available here including t.v., a source of entertainment. Sometimes we tired and get frustrated while studying than we need some source of entertainment, which is fulfilled by t.v. In hospital also there is no ragging takes place. All the seniors are very humble and helpful. The special thing about the hostel is the mess of the hostel is governed by the final year students itself so whatever we eat we pay only that much and there is no mistakes or cheats in mess bill. Also, we eat good quality food as well as a different variety of food here. We are given better security here also we are not allowed to go outside the hospital after 6 p.m.,which leads to our security. The rules for going home or staying out nights are very strict. The hostel is also very open kind of so we never feel like we are in jail after 6 p.m. We enjoy as in day time. In hospital also there are so many events take place which is very useful to enhance our talent. We learn a lot from the hospital and we become independent. This is the most special thing of the hostel.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Course fee is Rs.23000 per annum only,which is very less as compared to other private colleges.
- Scholarship is the medium of helping the students who are poor and from lower class families. So scholarships are given to those students in our college. The category and income criteria are applied to give the Scholarship to the students. Some scholarships are for handicapped students also. Also there are some Scholarship which are given to the students who are good in studies. This Scholarship is given on the basis of percentage obtained by the student. This scholarship is for respecting their talents. So including all the scholarships almost more than 80% students are benefited by the scholarships. Except the scholarship all students from sc and st category are benefitted by the stationary provided to them, which is very helpful for thier career.
- About loans, I don't know because I have not taken it till now.
