Placements and Internships
- Since I am in my first year, I haven't started exploring any internships but will start at the end of the second semester.
- A lot of companies visit our campus for campus placements at MSRIM
- The places students get an average salary of 5.6 lakhs per annum with the highest going up to 12 lacs per annum.
- Moreover, the alumni network is really strong in MSRIM and the complete alma mater can be contacted using LinkedIn or any other social media website. Even I joined this prestigious college after I spoke to one of its graduates.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are around 4 hostels at MSRIM for both boys and girls.
- Hostel is very clean and hygienic.
- The hostel fee ranges from R.5000 to Rs.10,000 per month.
- PGs surrounding MS Ramaiah Institute of Management are good and they charge around Rs.4000 to Rs.8000 per month. Also, flats are available for students at very reasonable prices.
- Most of the time, south Indian food is served at the hostel mess.
- Breakfast at the canteen costs about Rs20 and lunch costs around Rs.30.
- All the classrooms in MS Ramaiah Institute of Management are digitalised
- There are around 170 computers in total,excluding personal laptops which are provided inside the campus/
- The college also provides free WIFI for all.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- One needs to appear for CAT/MAT/XAT/PGCET exam of Karnataka state to get an admission into MSRIM
- 60% aggregate is the minimum cutoff to get a seat at MS Ramaiah Institute of Management
- I took CAT and cleared it successfully.
Academics and Faculty
- Classes at MS Ramaiah Institute of Management commence at 9AM and ends at 5:15PM.
- Exams at MSRIM are conducted on a semester basis.
- Assignments contribute to a major part of class activities and add up to the final result.
- The quality of teachers at MSRIM is outstanding and I would 9/10 for the entire college.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee for MSRIM per year is 6.25 lakhs for two years.
- The toppers of the campus are rewarded with scholarships.
- Students who actively take part in co-curricular events win a lot of cash prizes every year.
- An average of 15 to 20 students are awarded scholarships at MS Ramaiah Institute of Management every year.
- Vijaya Bank provides loans very easily as it is in collaboration with the institute.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various clubs in MS Ramaiah Institute of Management and their activities are really appreciable.
- All 4 student clubs are treated equally and are celebrated by the institute.
- Apart from infrastructure, life at MSRIM is really good and is considered to be among top 4 management institutes in Bangalore.
