Placements and Internships

2

  • I have done two internships - first one in digital marketing at aimuno.com and the second one which was organised by GAANA.
  • The worst part of our college is placements. They are good but not excellent, no electronic core companies visit our college.
  • The best part is work application, a Japan based company has taken 3 students from our college and that too in three consecutive years with a package of Rs. 36 lakhs per annum.
  • The average salary package is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

  • There is one hostel in Wadala.
  • Our college is in the woods, there are no PG's availabe outside.
  • The food is average.
  • There is concession for OHU Students.
  • Excellent classrooms and excellent infrastructre, no college in Mumbai can beat our libraries with E-books, IEEE libraries, centralised AC, centralised Wifi, extremely fantastics labs with well equiped equipments, etc.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

  • The class timing is from 9:00 A.M  to 6:00 P.M.
  • Projects depend on each student, but after 2nd year or during second year there will be compulsory 2 projects in a year.
  • Without assignments engineering is incomplete. We are given 3 assignments per subject.
  • VIT is famous for it's excellent staff, professors, head of department etc
  • Overall experience in college is great with a large number of facilities provided related to placements, further studies, extra studies, ground, college festival, etc.

Fees and Scholarships

3

  • The annual college fee is Rs. 1.15 lakhs.
  • I haven't apllied for any scholarships so I don't know any but one of my friend had applied for TATA scholarship which pays all your academic fees along with the tution fees.
  • The average number os students who get scholraships are those who score 8 or more than that CGPA and then apply for scholarship.

Clubs and Associations

4

  • We have a Student Council, ETSA, ACM, IEEE, etc.
  • We have our cultural.technical and sports fests called Verve and Sportsmania respectively, which begin in the month of February.
  • College for an engineer or may be people out in VIT is bit boring.
  • Students wait either for 1:15 P.M  or 3:45/4:45 P.M so that they can either eat or go home.
  • The environment in the college is a bit selfish, no one cares what you do what you don't do unless you have a huge group with exciting people.
  • Students are least bothered about anything and they have no enthusiasm
  • Every even semester the students are enthusiastic because we have our festivals in those days.
  • There are pros and cons to everything. We love our college.
