College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

  •  2 hostels, average and approximately INR 8000.
  • The PG's and other options are abundantly available outside, which proove to be cheaper and better. A 3BHK divided into 4 roomates can be rented for as low as INR 10000 per month.
  • The food in college is hygenic and average in taste. It is cost effective- around Rs. 50 per meal.
  • The quality of key infrastructure is high, however an absence of wifi and mobile jammers makes it difficult to take crucial calls at times.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

  • The daily routine is a little off in our college with attendence not taken too seriously, which results in lesser students coming to class and this also causes the teachers to start the classes quite late. Our projects, exams and assignments sturucture is averageish, however, i would have preferred more focus on practical knowledge to have been present in the course.
  • We had over 35 subjects taught to us through an array of different teachers. Some were unique, innovative and extraordinary in teaching, which made sitting in their classes fun. However, some of the teachers were quite upright and strict, and would just merely recite from the notebooks or the ppt in the pretense of teaching, at times letting doubts go unanswered.
  •  The overall experience in college was a very pleasent one. There were people from diverse cultures studing under one room, a lot of activity and energy seen during the amazing college fests, high amount of extra curricular activities were also available. I participated in NCC and the soccer team in my college for a small duration.

Fees and Scholarships

5

  • Approximately INR 40,000 per year is the course fee.
  • The Scholarships are avaiable on the basis of merit and participation in NCC/Sports etc around 5 students per year avail this facility.
  • Loans aren't really needed. They can easily be availed from major banks in the vicinity like HDFC, Vijaya Bank etc.

Clubs and Associations

5

  •  NCC,NSS,Troika fest association,a highly active dance and musice club, magazine editorial board and many other small formal and informal associations.
  • Troika
  • The college life in general is very chilled and relaxed on a whole. It does provide enough exposure to the things taught and there is a friendly atmosphere throughout. The teachers and the head of BBA department are helpfull and nice on a whole though, and help in providing a budding relation for professional growth.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took admission in bmcc for bba in year 2020 at the time of admission. Due to lockdown all the admission process was done online and lectures had also been conducted online. The quality of the teaching is excellent and all the professors are experienced. Also we get all the notes from our professors and they are always ready to guide the students.
