Placements and Internships
- I have done an internship in department of physics,delhi university.
- Every year number of companies came to heir students from different courses including physics as well. As i know companies like wipro,NIIT,DELLOITE, KPMG,LLOYD VENTURES and many others are there.
- They offered around R 4 lakhs per annum on average to each one. Last year one boy got Rs 9 lakhs per annum package from the college.
- College have big Alumni network like MANOJ VAJPAYEE, JAVED,PAPON,RAJAT SHARMA ,many CIVIL JUDGES, and beurocrats.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is seperate boys and girls Hostel. I am also a hosteller. It costs Rs 60000 per annum for the whole year which is efficiently good instead of being in PG's.
- Food system is too good. Cafeteria is nice with list of foods.
- Classrooms are good furnished and decorated including LCD Projectors. Full wi-fi networks, library with large quatity of books.
Academics and Faculty
- Its good to get Ramjas college for my graduation. Timings are from 8:40 am to 5 pm. Its obvoius that hectic schedule you have to follow. Exams are in december and May for semesters end.But the atmosphere they provide either by different ECA societies or by college professors is amazing. They give a better understanding of the subject and encourage us to learn physics in a different way instead of mugging up. March is for festival, and 3 days of full enthusiastic events and cultural evenings including DJ Night and STAR NIGHT .
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee is around Rs 10000 per annum for all students including lab and exam fee.
- Also scholarships will be given to students of physically challenged , less family income and to BPL students.
- Almost 60% students take benefit of this scholarship.
- I think this fee is not too much to take loan for studying here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to get admission at Ramjas College for B.Sc (physics) are that the student must pass PCM in 12th class with at least of 75-80%. There is no entrance exam. It is direct admission course based on cut-offs.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are interesting. We have a busy schedule. Off periods are in between classes and that gives ample time to refresh our minds. Teachers are student-friendly. You can sort out any problem you had anytime during the classes and after. Assignments and project works are apart of the academic Programme and has to be submitted within the stipulated time. The college is, afterall, one of the best institutions ever in DU. But I see some dark sides too. The staff members in the office are not student-friendly. You'll be made to wait for almost an hour to get a simple thing done like getting signatures for scholarship applications and all those stuffs. Without the dark sides, all the rest are well and good.
