Placements and Internships
- Internship opportunities are usually less. I haven't done any internship till now.
- Multinational companies like TCS, wipro are key companies at UEC.
- They average salary figures goes around Rs 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh per annum And around 70-80% batch gets placed here.
Academics and Faculty
- UEC is one of the oldest running technical institue in the state. It has recently completed its glorious 50 years. It ranks as the 4th best institute in the state after SGSITS Indore, DAVV Indore and JEC Jabalpur. Classes starts at sharp 9:00 hours IST. The faculty here is knowledeable and experienced. Some of the teachers here have around 20-30 years of experience.
- Overall its a good college with a great reputation.
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees of a genral candidate in the college is around INR 20,000-25,000 per year.
- There are many scholarships available for the students like minority scholarships etc.
- Around one out of every three student gets the scholarship in the college.
- Loans are usually not needed for the students.
Clubs and Associations
- There are mainly two cultural socities in college one is Avantikeya which is a cultural creed and second one is Litoffer which is a literary club at UEC.
- The main festivals in UEC : MECH-TECH-MEET which is a intercollege technical event, Aayam college's annual function.
- Other than these competitions , meetings are frequently organized in the college.
