College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Flame University has one of the best infrastructures I have seen around. Hostels are newly developed and have all the required amenities. The rooms are amazing with the surrounding views of valley. Flame has a compulsory accommodation policy as its study programme is designed in such a way where travelling to and fro is not convenient. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with all the technical items. Flame has a 3 floor library including discussion rooms making it a comfortable environment to study. Last but not the least, Flame’s Dining is managed by Sukhsagar Hospitality. Quality of food is amazing in comparison to other options but sometimes you may get a vegetable on menu you don’t like. Solution is the cafes around the campus. Also, Flame follows strict vegetarian policy on campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admission procedures involve entrance test scores, personal interview and submission of essay/ video. There are various entrance exams one can give to apply at Flame, such as GMAT, CMAT, NMAT, MAT etc., I took MAT as an entrance exam. The typical cutoff for MBA is around 70%.
Academics and Faculty
Flame has a practical approach to learning and this is one of the best part of MBA over here. Class timings are designed in such a way that a student has a good balance between academics and personal leisure. Sometimes the weeks are busy with projects and assignments but it is a part of MBA. Faculties are highly experienced and provide knowledge which will help you think outside the box. Teaching method is a mix of case studies and practical experiments. This overall system builds a great MBA experience.
Fees and Scholarships
For MBA, the fees is around 9 lakhs per year which includes food and accommodation. Students can apply for different types of scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on different basis like merit, need etc.
Clubs and Associations
There are numerous student run clubs one can join at Flame. They are amazing as well as interesting as they always come up with some activities which will keep you engaged after the studying hours. All the major festivals are celebrated here at Flame making you feel you are not away from home. Flame organises a yearly fest i.e. Kurukshetra. This involves Sports, Cultural and Managerial Activities. In general Flame has a great student community which can help you learn and grow as an individual.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You need above 6 CGPA in your UG and above 60% in your 10th and 12th class. You need to give any MBA entrance exam like MAT, GMAT, CAT. After that if you’re eligible you’ll have your GD and PI. I gave MAT exam.

Academics & Faculty : As a post-graduate student learning at FLAME University, one of the things that fascinate me a lot is the faculty, their experience, teaching style, and approachability. Learning from professors who have 30+ years of experience, start-up experiences, and IIM-IIT experiences is a real boon. The best part about FLAME is the 'approachability' and the 'courteous culture’. The availability of professors in class and outside class on campus helps us clear our doubts regularly.
