The mass recruiters from UEM, Kolkata are TCS, CTS, and Wipro. The roles offered are in the IT sector.

For B.Tech admissions in UEM, Kolkata, a candidate have to apply for any national/state level/JEE-mains/IEMJEE. Eligibility criteria for B.Tech are that the candidates must have more than 60% in their 10+2 examinations and have a valid score in the mentioned entrance exams.
The entrance exams that I took were JEE-mains, WBJEE and IEMJEE.
Typical cutoffs depend on the score that the candidate secured, and based on that the seats are allotted.

The classes start from 9.30 am from Monday to Friday till 4.00 pm in the afternoon, with suitable class timings. The number of assignments and projects allotted to the students (individual and group) helps one to build a strong base and helps to gain knowledge about the subject.

The course fee per year is 1.61 Lakhs.
Scholarship options are available, provided to students having more than 85% and 90% in their 10+2 examinations.
An average of 30 students per batch are rewarded with a scholarship.

The main fests of UEM Kolkata are URECKON, the tech fest, and ECSTASIA, the cultural fest. Apart from these main events, many walkathons and marathons, football and cricket tournaments are organized in which the students as well as the faculties, all participate full-heartedly.
