Our Placement & E-Cell, named Saksham, has worked hard over the years and has brought about a lot of internship-related offers for all the students of every academic year. According to the needs and requirements of the students, the internship and job opportunities vary. Stipends are also provided. Through the aid of Saksham and its initiative called INNOVATION (an effort that brings 50+ companies on campus for the students), fields of Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales have had a history of hiring excellent students from our institution. Finance and Marketing hold better regard in the criteria mentioned above.
For the vast number of students, good quality University hostels are present. The fee structure usually is very affordable. Usually, PG ranges from 12000-25000 approximately. There are many options to choose from based on location, type, interior, exterior, and the amount of money to be paid. The meals provided in the college are affordable for the students and are usually prepared with fresh food ingredients and food items with good nutritional value. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, and others is good and well maintained. The experience is splendid.
The procedure involved submitting all our academic information online on specific dates in an organised manner. After verification, merit lists were released, allowing students to check and admit themselves to the college depending on their 12th percentages. There were no entrance examinations. Further, typical cutoffs, as usual, were at par with the excellent student performances, above 90-95+ and later dropping to around 80-85 of percentage.
Classes are held regularly with fruitful and exciting lectures when the daily routine is concerned. The connection and conveyance of our professors are lovely and engaging. Projects, assignments and other class related works are routinely given, and the appropriate amount of time is provided to learn and submit those. Unit tests are held weekly or monthly, followed by midterms and end terms.

Usually, a great number of scholarships are available for the students at regional and national levels but the University or our Institution on it owns does not provide such opportunity. This is because all of the students stand eligible for the offer and benefit. Further, loans are not a necessity to study in our college. But, out station students might face a problem in managing their monetary dimension while being offline or on campus. Still, loan does not stand a necessary step to be taken by anyone. But if they wish to, those can be easily and effortlessly availed.
The students can choose from numerous societal choices. Starting from dancing, singing or drama societies to NSS, NCC, Saksham (for placement), North East Society etc., the list goes on and on. The campus and its component witness a main fest of the college, and along with it, the different societies hold their fest and programmes for the institutional fraternity.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Candidates who have qualified for their class 12th examinations are eligible for admission to the college. Also, the admission procedure shifted entirely on the online side because of the pandemic. However, offline and standard procedure is probable from this year onwards with the easing situation. The class 12th Board Examination percentage is the only needful for admission. The typical cutoff for my course, Economic Honours, usually is higher than other courses. It was around 96%( also there are relaxations for girls) in 2021.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : It was awesome college and the cutoff was also high and it was the remarkable expectation and if you want to take admission then you should have maths in 12th class.
