The companies which often visit our college are Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, Tata Steel, Ericsson, WABAG, and many more. My seniors have been placed at a very good package which starts from INR 4.5 LPA. 2019 placement scenario was excellent, 944 selection in top 4 MNC's in 4 days. This created a record in the history of PSIT.

We have a hostel for both boys and girls, and trust me, and hostel facilities are really good provided with a room cleaner person, laundry, mess and water supply 24/7. I am a hosteler too, so I have to pay my hostel fees, which is INR 76,000 for the NON-AC room and INR 88,000 for the AC room.

The food in college is also good; they provide variety of food and good in taste. Infrastructure is well maintained with AC installed in each classroom, practical lab, dining hall, Library, and most important, very neat and tidy.

The eligibility criteria during my time were based on AKTU Entrance Exam, which was conducted throughout the state for all students. When I cleared my Entrance exam, the next step was counseling which is basically done on the AKTU site, where you can fill for your choice of college and branch. You will get maximum 3 rounds for this counseling (which was during my time). The next step was to go to the college for On-spot counseling, where first of all, you will be interviewed with the admission handling department, and then after you are done with all the procedures, you have to follow the admission step by submitting your important documents to the admission department.

Our college starts preparing us for our career from the 1st semester only. College starts at 9 am till 4:55 pm, covering training classes, practical classes and academic lectures. After that, regular conduction of assignments, Class tests and Pre-University exams before the AKTU exam are done. The faculty is really hard-working, from providing us notes to connecting to each student during practical lab to assignments and CT. Overall, PSIT is a place to get prepared for your future with more zeal and confidence.

Scholarships offer are open for all students, just apply and fill out the scholarship form then the college provides the scholarship to the students according to the criteria decided by the senior authorities of the college. Students may also get an education loan, and we have the State Bank of India Branch in our college; the admission department tells all the requirements for education loan then just visit the Branch and ask them for further procedure.

Major support is given by our college management, student societies, club. Every year we celebrate Ignitia(college fest), Ignitia Launch, Webinars, meet with alumni, and many more. Life in college is where you keep developing and keep learning every day.
