Placements and Internships
Our department recently arranged a month-long internship for us. All of us got to experience what it's like to work in some of the biggest hospitals in the city, like Bell Vue Clinic and Narayana Super-speciality hospital. The college frequently arranges internships and workshops for its students, which is extremely helpful for the respective courses.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure is great and equipped with all the necessary facilities. There are hostels on campus for students coming from long distances. Additionally, there are numerous PGs and rental units around the area, even outside the college, that are quite affordable as well. Cafeterias are always buzzing with students, and food is available 24 hours. The campus is equipped with WiFi for students. There are labs and smart classes that are regularly used for teaching.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
For my course, I had to take the CET, but the procedure was extremely smooth as there were faculty to help us with the whole process.
Academics and Faculty
Classes are conducted every day, five times a week, from Monday to Friday. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They are extremely friendly and helpful but also strict when it comes to studies. When the pandemic hit, they quickly adapted to an online mode of conduct, and we have continued classes ever since, hardly ever missing any.
Fees and Scholarships
The fees for most courses are comparatively affordable and include all the college facilities like labs, smart classes, etc. Scholarships are also available in case someone is in need.
Clubs and Associations
The campus life is extremely pleasant. Various clubs are there for students to participate, like music clubs, photography clubs, even space clubs for astronomy enthusiasts. In addition, every year, there are numerous events held by the college with the help of students like cultural fests, tech fests and other departmental events. The students are extremely helpful and kind. Personally, I haven't faced any form of ragging on campus since the college is extremely strict about its anti-ragging policy.
